RULES
The following rules (“Rules”) together with Connect FM’s general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) (which can be found at www.connectfm.com) apply to ‘Tracie’s Mystery Voices’ ("the Competition") which will run from 4th January 2010 for a maximum of 13 consecutive weeks.
Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.
1. Details of the Competition
1.1 For the Duration of the Competition, listeners to Connect FM will be invited to enter the Competition by SMS Text Message, or website form, not via phone.
1.2 To enter the Competition an Entrant must text the word ‘Connect’ to 60300 during the allotted entry period times as broadcast on Connect FM.
1.3 Using a randomiser, a contestant will be chosen at random and invited to guess the identity of the 3 celebrity voices as broadcast on Connect FM. Contestants must be available on the phone number from which they texted to be eligible to play. Contestants who have entered, and been chosen, but who do not answer their phone to play the contest will be disqualified and another random number chosen.
1.4 At the point at which the first voice is identified, a prize of £500 will be awarded to the contestant who identifies that first voice. At the point at which a second voice is identified, a prize of £1000 will be awarded to that contestant. At the point at which the third voice is identified, the remaining Jackpot amount, which will increase periodically, will be awarded to that contestant.
1.5 All matters relating to the random selection of Entrants and all other matters relating to the Competition will be at the sole discretion of Adventure Radio and the Participating Radio Station.
1.6 All texts to the Text Message Line will be charged at a standard network rate.
1.7 Tracie’s Mystery Voices is available to listeners to the Adventure Radio Network.
2. Eligibility
2.1 Any person using a telephone which is not his or her own should ask for the permission of the owner of the telephone before sending an SMS text message to the Text Message Line.
2.2 Any employees of and or contractors engaged by Adventure Radio, their immediate family or any other persons directly connected with the Competition are unable to enter into the Competition.
2.3 The Competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom only.
2.4 Notwithstanding that a winner has been declared, if Adventure Radio discovers before the delivery of a prize that for any reason under these Rules or Terms and Conditions the winner should have been ineligible to enter the Competition or the entry should have been declared invalid, Adventure Radio reserves the right to determine that the winner is disqualified and no prize will be awarded.
2.5 There is no limit on the number of text messages that can be sent to the Text Message Line but Entrants are referred to the costs of text messages in 1.6 above.
2.6 Adventure Radio and the Participating Radio Station shall not be responsible for any failure on behalf of an Entrant whose text message or web entry is not received by Adventure Radio or the Participating Radio Station whether due to any technical faults or otherwise.
2.7 An Entrant must participate in the Competition himself or herself. In the event that a party other than the Entrant attempts to enter the Competition on behalf of that Entrant (whether disclosed or not), that entry will be forfeited and no Prize will be delivered.
2.8 Entrants must be 18 years of age and over.
3. Prize
3.1 All decisions of the Adventure Radio and Participating Radio Station’s representatives will be final and binding on the Entrants and no correspondence will be entered into regarding any decision made.
3.2 The prize will be the advertised cash amount. No alternatives will be offered.
